You’d be amazed how much motivation you can get from working out with a friend. They push you along as much as you push them along. You want to make them as proud as you want to make yourself. You’re striving for the same goal and they want nothing but success and happiness for them as much as they want it for you.
To exercise with someone reminds you that you’re not the only one striving for a goal that is completely attainable with enough persistance and hard work.
You get what you put in and i think you put in more when you’ve got someone to push you along just that little bit longer, whether it’s 30 more seconds, 2 more reps or two more kilometres. It all counts. It counts more with a friend.
